## Create code

Hi,

I need writing code that makes me read cell in the last row in table.. Can give me the formula to do that?

Thank you

Could you be a bit more specific about the problem? Which product are you talking about, Metrics? What table etc.?

Hi,

When I have a value in specific cell for example the cell that is row (3), colom (2) (the last value inserted for this properties) and I want use it in the level that above of this level. How can I read it?

Thank you

You can refer to the last inserted value of a series by using the "latest" period.

For example a formula defined as "SUM(?.ACT(latest))" would get the sum of the latest values from the series "ACT" of the measures from the level under the current measure. So if there would be two measures, one having latest value "7" for period "Q4 / 2015" and the other having a value "1" for "Q1 / 2016", you would get the sum of "8". If you only have one measure on the lower level, then you would get the latest value of that measure.

I tried it, but doesn't work. It reads to elements that have one period but doesn't read the elements that have multi period

Could you explain the measure structure with the measure series (and their formulas) and periods you are using?

The measure Series are Achived, Actual, Target, Weight, Alarm

The periods are quarters that if there are target each quarter or Master Data Entry if there is just one value to one time

Formula that I ues to calculate series total is Sum(?. series's identifier (latest))

Also. I use this formula  To calculate the latest values of all the sub-element's series: Sum_(?. series identifier ( )). But doesn't work.

Does Metrics give you error when you define the formula? You at least have an additional space between the "?" and "serie's identifier".

No.. When I use the same code on anther model, it is work ok.

That suggests there's something different between the models, making the formula not working on the other one. You could check the differences between the two models. If there are no differences in them, I'd suggest contacting QPR Customer Care.
